Buyer BrokerageIf you are looking to buy a home ask to work with an agent who will represent you. Most buyers are under the impression that the agent who they are working with is working for them, but are they really? Unless you are working with an agent who represents you, the buyer, a “seller’s agent” can’t give you any advice, and they aren’t allowed to help you make a fair offer and they can’t recommend a home inspector, etc. Buyers deserve a choice and should be represented by their own agent when they are making one of the largest investments in their life. As a seller, why would you want to work with an office that represented buyers? Who else would have a better pool of super qualified buyers who are prepared to make strong offers and have been coached through the process so that a transaction can go more smoothly? And when the sellers become buyers they deserve the same kind of representation they experienced on the selling side.
